70th Annual Distinguished Service Awards

Each year the Gaston County Jaycees honor our community servants. These exceptional people have gone above and beyond their call of duty. We recognize multiple emergency personnel, a teacher, a K-12 student, business leaders, businesses, and award the Gaston County Jaycees Lifetime Civic Achievement Award, sponsored by W. Duke Kimbrell.

Please join us on the evening of April 11th, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. to honor these great community leaders. This year we are honored to have Captain Geno Paluso as our keynote speaker. Captain Paluso served as a Navy SEAL officer on active duty as the commander of the Naval Special Warfare Group 3 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He currently is the commandant of cadets at The Citadel, where he graduated in 1989 with a degree in Mathematics.

Tickets to the event can be purchased for the Distinguished Service Awards at DSA’s Registration. This year there will be an additional ticket option for a Meet and Greet with Captain Geno Paluso as well as the Distinguished Service Award recipients. Thank you for your support of these great leaders who inspire us with their dedication to our community.
